Artisans and self-employed workers met the Cuban flag in San José de las Lajas

The Trade Union Section of Self-employed Workers and Artisans of San José de las Lajas met the Cuban flag, this Thursday morning, in the Boulevard of capital city of Mayabeque, because this section was the first one of this kind being established in Cuba, according to its performance in every task given by the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC).

Agustin Castillo Álvarez, general secretary of the Trade Union of Culture in the province Mayabeque, affirmed that this symbol will be hoisted every day since this moment by the 35 lajero artists. The flag will be situated in the Callejón del Artesano.

Yoel Rodríguez López, general secretary of the Trade Union Section, pointed out that the collective feels satisfied and committed with the organization, especially during the Congress, where the right performance of the structure, the sense of belonging to the organization, the representation of the Union, the support in front of economical, law and personal situations, are very important.

The event was presided by Marisol Fuentes Ferrer, general secretary of the CTC in the province, Leidisbel Reyes Escalona from the Municipal level, Lismary Díaz Cabrera, member of the CTC Committee in the province and Mayelin Herrera, official of the Communist Party of Cuba in the municipality.
