The outstanding singer and composer Polito Ibañez will have a show this Thursday, July 18, at 9:00 pm in the Movie Theater of San José de las Lajas.
Ibañes will share the scenery with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional and will sing the most recent disc production Ante tus Ojos.
The phonogram, recorded in Abdala Studio of the Colibrí record label includes poems of more than a dozen of recognized Cuban poets as Eliseo Diego – national prize of literature, Miguel Barnet, Nancy Morejón and Reynaldo Gonzalez
The disc makes reference to all these excellent human beings and great ideologist of a culture who defend a project with sense of sensibility beyond anything of the time.
Along his career this great artist has gathered many successes, the Prize Cubadisco 2001 in the category of Rock Music and his themes have been included in national and international compilations.
